The December 20, 2025, the station will vibrate to the rhythm of the famous Mulled wine festival, an unmissable event for all Christmas lovers. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., visitors will be able to taste different varieties of mulled wine accompanied by small local sweets, all to the sound of music. A festive and friendly atmosphere will take place on the village square, where it will also be possible to skate under Christmas lights.
The next day December 21, will take place At 5 pm The Wengen Christmas concert, a moment particularly awaited by locals and travelers alike. Founded in 1897, the Wengen Musikgesellschaft, composed of around twenty musicians, performs every year in the village. Their repertoire combines traditional music and festive tunes to make the mountains vibrate to the sound of Christmas.
Then, the December 25 at 5 pm, Wengen will celebrate Christmas with the traditional open-air mass, an event full of charm and spirituality. At the edge of the Waldweihnacht Flüeleboden forest, locals and visitors gather around a fire, sharing punch, mulled wine and Christmas carols in a magical atmosphere. In Wengen, the mild days following Christmas elegantly prepare for the excitement of New Year's Eve, when the station lights up to welcome the New Year in the most beautiful way possible.
New Year's Eve promises to be as spectacular as unforgettable.
Only a 30-minute drive from Wengen, the charming village of Grindelwald hosts festivities every year that attract visitors and locals alike. From 19:30, a grand parade goes through the illuminated streets, before a procession heads to the church at midnight to mark the start of the New Year.
Starting at 9 pm, the Eiger summit comes alive with a DJ set under the stars, while the main street becomes the beating heart of the party. And to end this unforgettable evening, a drone show Illuminate the valley at 00:30, drawing sparkling shapes in the sky visible from the best viewpoints: Panoramaplatz, minigolf or even the Graben car park.
